Vitals for specific blood type

The connection between different diseases, blood types and dietary habits has been first studied by an American physician, Dr. James D’Adamo back in the 1950s. He has experienced that patients suffering in the same disease do not always react to the same treatment in the same way, and people of different blood types need different diets for the sake of healing.

In his opinion several diseases are in connection with the diet of the patient, and are triggered by the reactions of lectins found in raw materials of food, as well as cell identifying molecules, antigens in blood and other tissues. He has found it proven that the interaction influences the function of intestinal epithelial cells, reducing by 50% for example glucose uptake, besides slowing down the regeneration of cells, which increases the risk of bacterial infections. More and more specialists hypothesize that a decisive factor in the development of many autoimmune diseases so far with unknown origin is lectin burdening caused by faulty diet. Some of these diseases are insulin-dependent diabetes, myasthenia gravis, Crohn’s, SLE, Sjögren’s diseases, multiple sclerosis, etc. One of the most spectacular and therefore best examinable effects of lectins is that they “agglutinate” red blood cells, but some lectins only certain blood types.

Consequently Dr. D’Adamo’s hypothesis seems to be logical, that preservation of health as well as prevention of chronic diseases of dietary origin requires blood type-specific diet. Based on the particular quantitative and qualitative demands of the different blood types as well as constitutional features it is easily understood that to achieve optimal heath-protecting effects special dietary supplements should be applied. In lack of this therapeutic effects are not complete, health preservation is not possible, deficiency conditions may occur and unpleasant chronic diseases may develop. Nutrients, based on their lectin contents can be definitely useful, neutral or harmful. Lectins often survive heat effects produced during cooking; moreover they resist gastric juices as well. Foods containing harmful lectins are harmful in case they are consumed routinely or in large amounts. The caused complaints most often are connected with the digestive system, or of allergic nature; there is a close connection between the two. Besides, probably they can also be blamed for arthritis, hypertension, obesity, and arteriosclerosis, diseases of the nervous system, osteoporosis and tumorous diseases.

Today in compounding the most up-to-date multivitamin formulas the traits of the individual blood types are taken into consideration worldwide. Herbs in blood type specific formulas help the prevention of diseases occurring frequently in the persons of a given blood type. Suggested use: First of all to prevent vitamin and mineral deficient conditions incidentally developing beside blood type specific diet, as well as to ward off the increased susceptibility of individual blood types to some diseases.

BLOOD TYPE O: Their body that have specialized for meat eating in the course of revolution can only ward off the harmful effects of meat eating (arthritis, intoxication symptoms resulting from intestinal stagnation, etc.) if the rate of metabolism is adequate. The physically extraordinarily active way of life of our ancestors with blood type O, and nutrients – then rich in vitamins – had warded this off. For type Os living today the solution is offered by regular exercise, and the relatively higher vitamin B, anti-inflammatory and detoxifying herbal complex (licorice, turmeric, yucca, parsley) in of the formula designated for them. As this type is also susceptible to instability of thyroid functions, their formula contains relatively more iodine than the other ones.

BLOOD TYPE A: Switching to a mostly vegetarian diet may cause a milder iron deficient anemia, as the so called hem-iron found in blood pigments of meat gets out of the food. Therefore the preparation contains more iron, of course in organic chelate form. The body of persons with blood type A is more susceptible to malignant diseases and diabetes, therefore their formula contains relatively more antioxidants (vitamins C, E, zinc and selenium) as well as chromium. The cardinal point of vegetarian diet is full value protein supply. For this reason the formula contains a protein digesting enzyme (bromelain) as well, in order the ingested proteins can be utilized optimally by the body. The soy and alga protein components of the formula are destined to enhance the ratio of the essential amino acids.

BLOOD TYPE B: The digestion of this group of mixed diet is not always sufficient; therefore their formula contains protein digesting bromelain as well. The body of blood type Bs is more susceptible to ulcer development, herpes infection and chronic fatigue syndrome. An efficient cure for these is the licorice component of the formula, which is an important medication against different problems in naturopathy and pharmacology. The formula contains anti-stress and anti-inflammatory chamomile, as well as lecithin stimulating the immune system of blood type Bs, as this group is vulnerable in all three areas.

BLOOD TYPE AB: Similar to type Bs, the immune system of ABs needs support, and their body, just like in case of As is more susceptible to malignant diseases, therefore the formula designated for them contains relatively more immunostimulants and antioxidant substances (vitamin C, zinc, selenium). Higher vitamin C contents reduce the risk of stomach cancer due to low levels of gastric acid. As similarly to As, AB can consume meat only occasionally, full value protein supply is very important. To achieve this our preparation also contains protein digesting enzyme bromelain, to substitute the essential amino acids with hydrolyzed egg white, as for them egg is an excellent protein source.

Warnings, contraindications, side effects:

  • The formula has no known side effects in the recommended dose, but individual sensitivity to its active agent may occur.
  • Persons suffering in chronic diseases requiring constant medical supervision should in any case consult their doctor before they start taking the formula.
  • Dosage: 3×1 tablets per day

  1. Not that I’m impressed a lot, but this is a lot more than I expected when I stumpled upon a link on Digg telling that the info is quite decent. Thanks.
